Newsflash

New Saturday Evening Times!!

(From 17th May 2009)

For the last three years, Saturday evening trains have been timed to leave Bidston five minutes before the arrival of trains from Liverpool. However, the diesels now run at the Monday to Friday times, ten minutes later, so that they now provide the slickest connections of the day from Liverpool to Wrexham.

For the time being, our timetable pages will continue to show separate links for "Mondays to Fridays" and "Saturdays", but both the corresponding pages will contain the new MONDAY TO SATURDAY times. Engineering work will necessitate separate pages again next winter.

Due to the former poor performance on our line by Arriva Trains Wales, we gave up promoting the Great Days Out that we have spent thousands of pounds advertising over the years. We are in the process of preparing web pages once again to encourage new passengers, but in the meantime, here is what we were suggesting three years ago when most timetables were rather different from those of today:
